Free tool limits and file retention

None of the four free tools require an account or sign-in. Each one has its own limits and its own retention period. The limits below apply when you are not signed in. If you are signed in to LMSable, your account's plan decides the "Made with LMSable" mark on PowerPoint to SCORM and quiz packages, and the question limit and source material in the AI Quiz Generator.

H5P Generator

• Source material you paste: up to 20,000 characters.
• Pasted AI response: up to 400,000 characters.
• 14 activity types, 11 content languages.
• The content you checked is kept on our side for 30 days so the file can be built when you click download. After that it is deleted and the file can no longer be downloaded from that page.
• Building a prompt is limited to 30 requests per minute per IP address; checking a pasted response, to 15 per minute per IP address.
• Downloading a file is limited to 10 per minute and 60 per hour per IP address.

PowerPoint to SCORM

• Up to 25 slides per package.
• Up to 800 KB per slide, up to 20 MB total per package.
• Course title: up to 200 characters.
• Up to 10 exports per day per IP address.
• The download link stays available for 30 days after export, then the package is deleted and the link returns a 404 page. To keep working on it, use Save to my account (or Save to my courses when signed in) on the result; this turns it into a course in the Course Builder.

AI Quiz Generator

• 6 to 12 questions per quiz without an account. Up to 40 depends on your plan: today every signed-in account has it; after Pro launches it is part of Pro.
• Pass mark: 30% to 100%, default 80%.
• Package title: up to 200 characters.
• Your own source material (pasted text up to 20,000 characters, or a file attached in the chat) is not available without an account. Today every signed-in account has it; after Pro launches it is part of Pro.
• Up to 10 exports per day per IP address, tracked separately from PowerPoint to SCORM.
• Building a prompt is limited to 20 per minute and 120 per hour per IP address.
• The download link stays available for 30 days after export, then the package is deleted and the link returns a 404 page. Save to my account (or Save to my courses) on the result turns the quiz into a course in the Course Builder.

Certificate Generator

No server limits and no retention period apply. The certificate is composed and exported entirely in your browser, nothing is uploaded, and no file is stored on our side.

If you hit a limit

• "Daily limit reached" on PowerPoint to SCORM or the AI Quiz Generator: wait until the next day, or contact us if you need more.
• A download link returns a 404 page: the file passed its 30-day retention period and was deleted. Generate it again.
