Create a course and describe it

Start a new course and give it enough detail that the AI prompts LMSable generates for you make sense.

Before you start

On your course list, click New course.
Type a Course title.
Pick a Format: Interactive book (scrolling lessons) or Presentation (PDF-based slides).
Optional: in the Branding section, set a Primary color, Accent color, a Logo URL (HTTPS) and a Font. You can change these later on the course's Format step. From Pro's launch, logo and custom font are part of the Pro plan; colours apply on every plan.
Choose the Content language.
Click Create course. The course opens on the Format step; click Save and continue.
For an Interactive book, you land on the Contents step (a Presentation goes to Slides instead). Fill in the Course brief: Target audience and Goal (both optional but recommended), a Difficulty level and, optionally, a Style.
Under Source material, choose No source, Paste text (up to 60,000 characters) or I will attach a file - if you attach a file, the generated prompt asks you to attach it inside your AI chat; nothing is uploaded to LMSable.
If you picked a source, set Fidelity between "Strictly from material" and "Free interpretation".
Optionally tick Also draft lesson content, so the AI adds working draft text to every text lesson when it builds the table of contents.

The Contents step shows your brief and a Generate with AI button, ready for Import the table of contents from your AI.

Logo or font fields are locked: those are part of the Pro plan. Your entry is saved and applies automatically once the plan covers it. See Free and Pro: what is included.
Pasted source text is cut short: the limit is 60,000 characters, and LMSable trims anything longer; paste a shorter excerpt or switch to "I will attach a file" and let your AI chat read the whole document.
