Terms of use

LMSable is a set of tools provided by eTechnologie Sp. z o.o.: the H5P Generator, Course Builder, PowerPoint to SCORM, the quiz generator and the certificate generator. The tools and the Course Builder Free plan are free of charge; Course Builder Pro is a paid plan. Using any of the tools means accepting what is written below. It is short on purpose.

If you buy Pro, the Terms of Sale also apply. They cover price, payment, renewal, cancellation, withdrawal, refunds and support for Pro, and where they say something different from this page, they take precedence for Pro.

What you get

A prompt to use in your own AI chat, and tooling that turns the chat's answer into a standards-compliant file: an .h5p package, a SCORM 1.2 course or quiz, a converted slide deck, or a certificate produced in your browser. The content is yours. You may use it commercially, edit it and redistribute it without asking us. We claim no rights to what you create here.

Accounts and your files

Most tools need no account. Course Builder does, because it has to give your work back to you: you enter an email address and sign in with a code we send to it. Keep access to that mailbox, because it is the only route back to your projects.

  • Downloadable packages stay available for 30 days, then the file is deleted.
  • Course Builder projects you never exported are removed after 90 days of inactivity on the Free plan. On Pro they are not removed on a timer. If your account had Pro before, they are kept for at least 12 months without sign-in or course activity; then we email you, and they are removed no earlier than 30 days after that email.
  • Keep your own copy of anything you need. LMSable is a course tool, not a backup service.

What you are responsible for

  • Checking the content before you use it with learners. The text comes from a language model, not from us. Models get facts wrong, and a compliance course built on a wrong fact is worse than no course.
  • Testing the package in the platform that will deliver it. We build to the standard; your LMS decides how it reads it. Import success is not the same as working tracking.
  • Not pasting personal data or confidential material into source material or lesson fields. You usually do not need to: the tools work from a topic description just as well.
  • Rights to any material you paste, attach or upload as a source, including images, audio and slides.
  • Using stock photos within their licence. Course Builder can search Pixabay and Pexels and copy a photo into your course. Those photos are free to use, including commercially, but the licence of the provider still applies and it is yours to honour: do not sell the photos unaltered, do not show recognisable people in a context that could offend or harm them, do not imply that a person, brand or organisation endorses you, and remember that a logo or trademark visible in a photo gives you no right to use it. We pass on what the provider allows; we do not grant you anything beyond it.
  • Your own AI provider's terms - that conversation happens outside these tools.

If you believe a photo used in a course made here infringes your rights, write to hello@lmsable.com with the link or the course and enough detail to identify the image. We will look into it and remove the photo from our servers if the complaint is justified, and we will tell the author of the course so they can replace it.

Connecting an AI chat

If you connect an AI chat app (for example Claude or ChatGPT) to your account, you are responsible for the instructions you give it and for what it does on your account as a result, in the same way as for your own actions. Anything it adds, changes or removes in a course counts as your change, including changes it makes on its own as part of a task you asked for.

Every change it makes to a lesson is saved as a version you can review and restore. That history is a safeguard, not a guarantee: keep your own copy of content that matters to you.

You can revoke the connection at any time on the AI chat connection screen, and access stops immediately. We may rate-limit, restrict or switch off the connection, for everyone or for one account, for example to stop misuse or excessive load, or while we investigate a problem. We aim to keep the limits high enough for normal use.

What you may not do

Automate access (scripts, scrapers, bulk requests), attempt to bypass the rate limits, export limits or the anti-bot check, resell access to these tools as your own service, upload malware or material you have no rights to, or use them to produce unlawful content. We may block access if any of this happens.

No warranty

The free tools and the Free plan are provided as is, free of charge, with no guarantee of availability, fitness for a particular purpose or correctness of generated content. For Pro, the warranty and liability rules in the Terms of Sale apply. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for damage resulting from their use. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under Polish law, including for damage caused intentionally.

We may change or discontinue the free tools and the Free plan. For the free tools and the Free plan, nothing here creates a support obligation or a service level commitment. Pro includes e-mail support, as described in the plan specification on the pricing page. If you need more, such as a service level commitment, that is a commercial conversation and we are happy to have it.

Trademarks

H5P® is a registered trademark of the H5P Group. SCORM® is a registered trademark of the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative. PowerPoint is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. LMSable is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. We produce files in the open .h5p and SCORM formats, which is what those formats are for.
