Images, files and media limits
Limits for the files you upload directly into a lesson's blocks (images, PDFs, audio), separate from the AI text you paste in.
Per-file limits
These apply on every plan:
- Image: up to 2 MB, JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF.
- PDF attachment: up to 4 MB.
- Audio clip: up to 3 MB, MP3.

The 20 MB (Free) and 100 MB (Pro) media limit per course applies to presentation slides, not to images and files in blocks.
Note
Pro is not on sale yet. Until it launches, every account keeps today's limits, which match the numbers above for Free.
If something goes wrong
- "This image is ... MB. The limit is 2 MB" (or the same message for a PDF or audio file): the individual file is over its size limit - compress it or pick a smaller one.
- "Image limit reached" or "File limit reached": your course reached the per-course count for your plan. Every file ever uploaded to the course counts, even after you remove it from a block, so removing a block does not free a slot. See Free and Pro: what is included.
- An upload is rejected outright: only JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF images are accepted in image blocks, only PDF files in an attachment block, and only MP3 files in an audio block.
