How long we keep your courses

LMSable removes content automatically on a schedule, so nothing is kept forever without you asking for it.

What is removed, and when

A Course Builder project you never exported: removed, with its uploaded files, versions and review links, after 90 days with no activity. Courses of an account on an active Pro plan are not removed.
A Course Builder project you did export: kept until you delete it from your course list or ask us to delete it. It is not removed on a timer.
Exported .zip packages from the free tools (PowerPoint to SCORM, AI Quiz Generator): the download link stops working after 30 days, then the file is deleted.
Review link content: cleaned up once the link is no longer active - revoked, expired, or replaced.
Course preview files: temporary copies, rebuilt each time you preview and deleted after 7 days (24 hours for a preview of a saved version). They are not part of your saved course.

This cleanup runs once a day, so removal can happen any time after the number of days above, not exactly at the deadline.

A download link no longer works: it is past its 30-day window - rebuild and re-export from the tool, or, if you saved it to a Course Builder project, open it there instead.
A course disappeared: it was likely never exported and reached 90 days without activity. Course Builder does not warn you before this happens today, so export early to keep a permanent copy.
You want a project deleted sooner than the schedule: open the course's menu on your course list and choose Delete. To have your email address removed as well, see Your data and privacy.
